Non-philosophical take on Art vs Corporates

The resentment towards deadlines is appalling when any kind of independence leads to all-round dickery and barely any work. I hate deadlines too, but I need someone staring at my ass like a pervy uncle before I can even begin to get off, and to work.
Its incredible how much we tend to romanticise art and dehumanise corporates, when the latter provides you health insurance (I know its not out of the goodness of their hearts) and the former leaves you hanging high and dry for validation, much like your dad.
Corporates pay you money, even if it means that they that they get to ride you like Himesh rode the success of Aap ka Surroor. And that shit helped him to single-handedly bring down acting standards in an industry which already didn't have any. Art doesn't pay you much except inflating your ego with the reassurance that you're staying true to yourself, while a part of you secretly knows that you're doing a disservice to art by using it as a means to feel better about your self.
I'm only writing this because I want to be able to call myself slightly meta. And it gives me an excuse to procrastinate corporate work that allows me to pay for WiFi, with which I torrent the work of artists I admire as a hypocrite. And I know I did this again with the previous line, and again with this one. Its a vicious cycle but one without a seat, so you'll feel like you're moving forward but you're only really hurting your balls in the process.
This doesn't have a point. I don't really feel much about art vs corporates, nor do I know shit about either. I'm just a 22-year-old traumatised by the thought of being the same guy when I'm 23, and hoping that writing a long paragraph will make people think I have a lot of thoughts in my head, other than being ghosted by women on dating apps.
